Officials from American AgCredit proudly unveiled their new Salina facility on Thursday.
Construction of the 12,464 square foot building began back in November. By August 23rd it was complete, and employees moved in.
The new facility features a walkout basement, ten enclosed offices, four open office areas, and a mail and production room. It also has a large conference room with external access, making it ideal for community meetings and as a regional gathering facility.
Manager Chuck Heaton tells KSAL News that the location, on Magnolia Road just off Interstate 135, makes it ideal for the company’s customers, who are mainly rural and come from all over the region. He says that the location, along with a large easy to enter and exit parking lot, will make it convenient.
The celebration on Thursday included a Salina Area Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting ceremony, and a open house for the public.
