A suspect is expected to survive after being injured in an officer-involved shooting in Wichita.

Twenty-one-year-old Elijah Martinez allegedly shot at officers who responded to a disturbance at a business in the 700 block of North Gilda yesterday morning. Police returned fire and struck Martinez in the jaw.

Martinez was arrested following a chase that ended with a crash in the parking lot of a business near Maple and Maize.
