Robert C. Pearson, 70, of Salina passed away Tuesday January 9, 2018 with his loving family by his side. He was born July 14, 1947 in Sumner, Mississippi.
Robert retired as a SFC from the U.S. Army where he was a military communications and intelligence specialist. He worked for Midwest Security at Salina Regional Health Center for 16 years before going to work for St. John’s Military School as an advisor for 12 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Stella M. (Nevels) Pearson; brother, Mark Pearson; sisters, Maxine Pearson and Deborah Pearson; and grandfather, George Nevels;
Survivors include his sons, Lonnie Pearson and Somchai Ditsunon both of Salina; daughters, Saichon Thongdaeng of Salina, and Constance Pearson of North Dakota; beloved significant other, Debbie Harvey of Salina; sisters, Elizabeth Roseborough of Little Rock, AR and Dorothy Bridges of Chicago, IL; brothers, Raymond Mack and Michael Mack both of Minneapolis, MN; 12 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and best friends, Selvan Ramen, Eric Nicholson and Pier Toman all of Salina.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 15 from 2-7pm with family to receive guests from 5-7pm at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 East Crawford, Salina.
Funeral services will be held at 11am, Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the Chapel. Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park with full military honors.
