Harvey County is recovering from a cyberattack.

Officials say part of the county’s computer network was disabled in this week’s attack and they are working with insurance providers and cyber security experts to recover lost data.

The county does not believe personal information of employees and residents was compromised in the attack.

The attack was discovered on Sunday and the county courthouse closed Monday as a result.
