Kenneth Eugene Rhea was born December 2, 1929 in Russell, Kansas and went to heaven where he joined the love of his life, his wife of 63 years, Dorothy on February 20, 2018.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Agnes Rhea, his beloved wife Dorothy, his brother Glendon Rhea, and his eldest son Thomas J. Rhea.
Ken is survived by his children, Glenda S. Mutschler (Harold) of Gypsum, KS; Gregory E. Rhea of Harper, KS; Anthony E. (Anna) Rhea of Argonia, KS; daughter-in-law Ann Rhea of Wichita, KS; sister Betty Neil of Emporia, KS and brother James E Rhea of Joplin, MO.

His, granddaughter Karen Copeland (Jay) was his primary caregiver and constant companion in his later years. His other grandchildren were also close to his heart, Alex, Madalynn, Chase, Amy, Beth, Candice and Keyra and 13 great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, March 3 at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 E Crawford, Salina, KS. A reception with the family will follow in the Roselawn friendship room.

Memorials in Ken’s memory may be made to the VFW or the American Legion Riders in care of Roselawn Mortuary.
