A Riley County Police Officer is recovering at a hospital after being struck by a vehicle while on duty Friday.

According to the agency, the officer was struck while conducting a traffic stop. They say the officer is going to recover.

The agency reminds motorists to slow down and move over for emergency vehicles. Not only could it save a life, it’s also the law in Kansas.
