Kansas State has hired an architect for a $70 million residence hall project.
The university chose Treanor Architects, a firm with five locations in Topeka, Lawrence and Kansas City, Mo.
The new facility, which is scheduled for completion in August 2015, includes construction of a 450-bed residence hall and a 58,000-square-foot dining center.
Treanor Architects has been involved in 45 student life projects in the past five years, including housing at Texas A&M, the College of William and Mary and the University of Missouri.
