Dorothy Faye “Dot” Wiens, 82, of Galva, Kansas, passed away at 5:55 p.m., Tuesday, March 27th, 2018 peacefully, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas.

Dorothy was born in Donaldson, Arkansas on July 4, 1935, a daughter of Ev. and Mollie (Mcanally) Bonds.

Dorothy attended schools in Donaldson, Arkansas.

She was a member of Galva Christian Church, Galva, Kansas.

Through the years Dorothy worked for the Little Rock, Arkansas Hospital as a mail clerk.

Dorothy enjoyed her family and spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, puzzles, word searches, loved spending time at the Galva Senior Center, extreme sports enthusiast, especially the Oakland Raiders Football and KU sports.

Dorothy F. Bonds was united in marriage to Galen R. Wiens on March 25, 1969 at Oahu, Hawaii. The young couple established their first home in Oahu, Hawaii. Their marriage was unified with 4 children, two sons and two daughters, Debra, Ronnie, Pam and Gary.

She is survived by her husband Galen Wiens, of Galva, Kansas; her children, Debra Whitis and her husband Tony, of Oskaloosa, Iowa, Ronnie Hutton and his wife Yon Ok, of San Antonio, Texas, Pam Johnson and her husband Karl, of Warsaw, Missouri and Gary Wiens, of Gilbert, Arizona, her 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and her 11 siblings.

Memorial service at Galva Christian Church, Galva, Kansas, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 31st, 2018 with Reverend Tripp Edwards officiating.

A private family burial will be held at the North Inman Cemetery, Inman, Kansas.
