It could soon be a lot easier to buy a lottery ticket in Kansas. Lawmakers in Topeka say Governor Jeff Colyer is likely to sign a new plan to allow stores to sell lotto tickets and instant bingo tickets from vending machines.
The legislature passed a similar law last year, but Governor Brownback vetoed the plan.
State Senator Bud Estes yesterday said he’s been assured that Governor Colyer is unlikely to do the same.
