Kansas’ new school finance formula is about to become law.

Governor Jeff Colyer is expected to sign the final bill into law today. The measure increases public school funding by more than 500-million-dollars over the next five years.

The Kansas Supreme Court had given the legislature until April 30th to approve a new school finance bill.
