Ellen Irene Burns, 94, of Salina, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018. She was born July 23, 1923 in Horton, KS.

She was preceded in death by her, parents, Owen F. and Escha I. (Koll) Brown; husband, Loren V. Burns; son, Ronnie Burns; daughters, Pamela Burns, Constance Rudolph; granddaughter, Stephanie Burns; 1 great grandson; 2 great granddaughters; brothers, Chuck Brown, Ralph Brown, Buck Brown and Vernon Brown; sisters, Mary Jane Scheurle, Leila Benson, Katherine Bushke & Kathleen Lampkin.

Survivors include her, children, Richard (Marlene) Burns, Doneal (Bill) Nichols, Janice (Gene) Denton, and Sheryl Moore; brothers, Roy (Elfie) Brown; sister, Sharon (Steve) Mast; (18) eighteen grandchildren; (44) forty-four great-grandchildren; and (28) twenty-eight great great-grandchildren.

Ellen’s Christian life was as beautiful as she was. As a result, of generosity and beautiful personality she is loved by many, her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her and loved her.

Celebration of life will be held at Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina. Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park.
