Bob L. Begnoche, 74, of Salina, passed away Oct. 12, 2018. He was born Nov. 25, 1943, in Miltonvale, to Albert and Velma (Bulleigh) Begnoche.
Bob graduated from Brown Mackie College and spent most of his career with Security Savings Bank in Salina. Upon his appointment at age 34, Bob was the youngest president of a financial institution in the state of Kansas. He served as president and CEO of the bank for 18 years.
Bob is survived by: his wife of 45 years, Patty (Sheets); sons, Todd Begnoche and John Hoffman; daughter, Renee; grandchildren, Clinton, Chad, Dylan, Dalton, Dane and Whittney; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Mila, Emma, Peyton and Piper; special great-granddaughter, Rae; beloved cat, Spookey, and dog, Chigger; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; and brothers, Max and Rex.
A Celebration of Life will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, at Trinity United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, Salina, with a sharing of memories at 6:30.
