Freda D. Predmore, 84, entered into rest on November 3, 2018 at the Republic County Hospital in Belleville, Kansas. She was born on June 11, 1934 in Concordia, Kansas to Vern M. and Mary B. (Walker) Allen.

Freda attended Concordia public schools while growing up.

She married Verdell Mathiesen on August 10, 1952 at the Lutheran Church in Chester, Nebraska.

Freda later married Robert Predmore on July 16, 1975 in Concordia, Kansas. He preceded her in death on August 29, 2004.

Freda worked for various businesses in Concordia throughout her life.

She was a member of the VFW women’s Aux. Post #588.

Freda enjoyed bingo, fishing, sewing, cards and most of all spending time with her family.

Freda is survived by her children, Debra Skucius (Tom), Cuba, KS.; David Mathiesen (Brenda), Berthoud, CO.; Dr. Douglas Mathiesen, Kansas City, KS.; Denise Mathiesen, Longmont, CO.; step-sons, Maj. Bradley Predmore (Anita), Kansas City, KS.; and Dr. Brian Predmore (Shanna), Oklahoma City, OK.; brothers, Bob Allen (Eva), Concordia, KS.; Larry Allen (Mary Lou), Gooding, ID.; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Verdell and 2nd husband Robert, parents, Vern and Mary Allen, brothers, Jim, Harold, Darrell and LaVern Allen, sisters, Margaret Brown, Marjorie McNeil, Marilyn Water, and Sharon Chritton.

Services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, in Concordia, Kansas. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, Kansas.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.
