Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach could be headed to the Trump administration.

The Kansas City Star reports Kobach is being mentioned as a possible candidate to become the next U.S. Attorney General.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions resigned yesterday at the request of the Trump administration.

Kobach ran for Kansas governor this year, but lost to Democrat Laura Kelly in Tuesday’s election.
