First USD 305 Superintendent Finalist

The first of four candidates vying to be the next USD 305 Superintendent of Schools is interviewing today.

According to the district, David McGehee, Ed. D. will be interviewing for the position of superintendent with the board of education on the evening of January 14, 2019.

McGehee is the first of four finalists that the board will interview. Finalists were selected for interview based on their fit with desired characteristics that were developed with input from focus groups and a community survey.

McGehee has a total of 31 years in public education, most recently serving as an education consultant. Previously, McGehee spent 18 years as superintendent in three districts, 3 years as high school principal and 8 years teaching secondary science, physical education/health and coaching.

Dinner and formal interview (during executive session) will be held at the Holiday Inn, 3145 9th St. No official action will take place.
