The Bethany Oratorio Society will be holding the first “Messiah” rehearsal this Sunday.
The rehearsal will be in Presser Hall at 3 p.m. New singers are asked to arrive at 2 p.m. for an informal vocal placement. “Messiah” scores will be available for purchase for $10 each.
The chorus for the performance of the “Messiah” is uniquely different in that community members, college students, and faculty join together to form the Bethany Oratorio Society. Rich in history, the chorus includes mothers, daughters, fathers, and sons that have made singing in the “Messiah” a tradition that lives on through the generations. Some members have been participating for over 50 years. Be a part of history and perform in the 138th year of “Messiah” at Bethany College.
