Lois M. Burch McBeth, of Salina, “passed up” (her term) to Heaven on January 20, 2019.
Lois was born in Roxbury, Ks, to Elmer Burch and Marie Ade Burch Morrison. Her parents, step-father Lloyd Morrison, brother Loren Burch, step-brothers Milton Morrison and Kenneth Morrison, step-sisters Lorene Morrison Moore and Mildred Morrison Sebree, all preceded her in death.
In 1949, she married Donald D. McBeth, Salina. Don preceded her by “passing up” shortly after their 50th wedding anniversary.
Following a year of college at Kansas University on a scholarship, she worked as an executive secretary for Morrison Enterprises of Salina until she retired.
She leaves many family members including children Mark McBeth, Mary McBeth Gunn, and son-in-law Doug Gunn; very loved grandchildren Russ Gunn, Stephen Gunn, Leah and Matt Emerick, and Joanna and Joel Freisner; her brother Jon Burch; and many dear family members too numerous to name. She also leaves many very special people who became family from next door neighbors to Taiwan, and many places in between.
Services will be held at Sunrise Presbyterian Church at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 9th, 2019.
