Wesley Dudley Oakley, 95, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Sunday, March 3rd, 2019.
Wesley was born in Alden, Kansas on February 15, 1924, son of the late Celeste L. (Boes) and Lloyd E. Oakley.
He worked as a Maintenance supervisor for Lyons Manufacturing in Lyons, Cessna in Wichita, Allis Chalmers in Topeka, and Pittman Corporation in Grandview, Missouri.
He raced Go Karts competitively for 60+ years.
On Aug 5, 1942, Wesley married Mary K. Blakely in Lyons, Kansas.
Survivors include two daughters, Jan Oakley, of Salina, Kansas, Caitlenn Morrisy, of Bethesda, Maryland; granddaughter, Kelly Alexander; and 2 great grandchildren, Brian Patrick, and Layne Patrick.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Oakley; son, Larry Oakley; brother, Ennis A. Oakley;
Cremation has been chosen and no services are planned.
