A Butler County man in his sixties is dead after he was buried in sawdust at a Valley Center lumberyard.

Local police say it happened a little after noon yesterday at Conner Industries on Cedar Avenue.

The victim, who was reportedly buying sawdust for agricultural use, was apparently underneath an overhead storage bin when a large quantity of sawdust that had been stuck gave way, burying him.
