Roger H. Peatling, 76, of Fairbury, NE, passed away Monday April 1,
2019. He was born July 5, 1942, in Salina, KS, the son of Vernon &
Opal (Montgomery Peatling. Roger earned his Bachelor of Science
degree from Ft. Hays State College and then attended the Professional
Golf Association School of Golf. He worked as an assistant pro at the
Bartlesville, OK Country Club and then became the head professional at
the Rolling Meadows Golf Club in Junction City, KS. Later, Roger
worked for the Eldorado Bus Company.

He was preceded in death by his wife Gwen.

Survivors include his son, Trent of Oklahoma City; one sister, Vicki
Martin of Fairbury; two grandchildren, Liberty & Reagan; and two
nephews, Jamie & Jed Martin.

A Memorial Service for Roger will be 11:00 AM Friday, April 5, 2019,
at the Ryan Mortuary, Salina, KS. Interment of ashes will be at a
later date. Memorials are to the Ahlzeimer’s Association, in care of
the Ryan Mortuary.
