A crash which left a semi dangling on a bridge prompted the closure of Interstate 70 for about four hours in western Kansas late Wednesday night into early Thursday.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the crash involved a semi and a Kansas Department of Transportation truck.
A Kenworth semi and the KDOT truck were both headed east. The semi struck the truck, before then swerving to the right. The semi went off a bridge with the tractor coming to rest on a county road below. The trailer caught on the bridge. The KDOT truck came to rest in the median.
Neither driver was seriously hurt in the crash.
I 70 was closed between the communities of Goodland and Edson while first responders worked the scene.
The crash happened Wednesday night just after 8:00 on Interstate 70 about 4.5 miles east of Goodland.
