Salina Police are looking for a white man and women who allegedly took a victim’s wallet and then went shopping with her bank cards on Monday.
Captain Paul Forrester tells KSAL News that authorities are reviewing video surveillance from Target and Lowe’s Home Improvement store after the two brazenly took the 75-year-old’s wallet from her purse, then went directly to the Target checkout and purchased $1,000 worth of prepaid Visa cards while the victim was still in the store.
The victim discovered her wallet was missing from the purse in the cart when she tried to check out.
Meanwhile the man and woman drove in a dark colored SUV across South 9th to Lowe’s and purchased over $1,000 in prepaid MasterCards.
The investigation is ongoing and police are expected to share stills from the store’s video cameras as they seek the two suspects in the case.
