Larry Lee Pucket, 77, of McPherson, KS, passed away at 3:24 p.m., Monday, May 6th, 2019 while in the company of family members, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas.
Larry was born in Concordia, Kansas on June 30, 1941, a son of Irene Lily (Orebaugh) and George W. Pucket.
Larry attended the Glasco Grade School and graduated from Glasco High School, Glasco, Kansas in 1959.
Through the years, Larry worked on a harvest crew, worked in the bakery department for Dillon’s Store in Salina, worked for Bogarts in McPherson for several years prior to working for the McPherson Dillon’s from which he retired.
Larry was a member of Elk’s Club B.P.O.E. Larry enjoyed coaching softball, bowling, fishing, gardening, camping, traveling, playing cards, his family and spending time with his grandkids.
Larry Lee Pucket was united in marriage to Vicki Diane Harper on May 28, 1960 at the First Christian Church, Glasco, Kansas.
He is survived by his daughters, Rebecca “Becky” Bornhoft and husband Dan, of Gilbert, Arizona, Rachelle “Shelly” Marsh and husband Kevin, of Kansas City, Missouri, and RaDonna Friesen, of Aurora, Colorado; his brothers, Clyde Pucket and wife Brenda, of Wichita, Kansas, and Lonny Pucket and wife Fonda, of Kipp, Kansas; his five grandchildren, Carlee Bornhoft, Nicholas Bornhoft, Morgan Rose and fiancĂ©’ Liam Reilly, Noah Marsh, and Jacob Marsh; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Vicki Pucket; a brother Gerald and a sister, Guila
Friends are invited to call on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 5 to service time at Glidden – Ediger Chapel, McPherson, Kansas.
A memorial service will be held at Glidden – Ediger Chapel, McPherson, KS, at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10th, with Chaplin Rick Schrag officiating.
