A Kansas college is mourning the deaths of two student-athletes.

Two Kansas college athletes are dead following a traffic accident in eastern Texas.

Local authorities say Jacobi Scott and Shelvin Keller were killed in a collision between their vehicle and a semi tractor-trailer around 6 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 59 near the town of Marshall. Both men were football players at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas.

The students were on their way home following the end of the school year.
