A man attempting to drive through water over Simpson road became stranded.

Sheriff Roger Soldan of the Saline County Sheriff’s Office told KSAL News: At 7:30 this morning a man tried to drive through a flooded part of Simpson Rd. when his vehicle slid off the road. Rural Fire District #5 was able to rescue the man but his vehicle is still there.

There were no injuries.
