Hutchinson Public Schools teachers are getting a pay raise.

Under a new contract approved by the Hutchinson Board of Education this month, base salaries for new teachers will increase by three-point-two-percent.

All teachers on the salary schedule are also getting a pay increase.

Base salaries for new teachers in Hutchinson schools are now more than 39-thousand-dollars per year.
