Security at Ellsworth Junior/Senior High School will be elevated over the next several days.

That’s the word from local officials, who say the move comes after a possible threat rattled local officials yesterday.

That threat was later deemed not credible.

However, a student who allegedly made the threat has reportedly been removed from the school as a precaution, and school officials say extra patrols will be on duty in and around the school as a precaution.
