It was a deadly Saturday on Kansas roads and highways.
Law enforcement across the state stayed busy working numerous accidents as a mix of snow, sleet and ice made driving dangerous.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, troopers worked at least a dozen injury accidents, and multiple other non-injury accidents.
Fatal crashes were reported in Coffey, Reno, Meade, and Douglas counties. In Seward county two pedestrians were hit by a vehicle.
At Wichita’s Mid Continent Airport a small airplane slid off a runway as it landed Saturday. There were no injuries in that incident.
Roads across the state will be hazardous again Sunday.
