Teresa Lynette Harris was born January 3, 1963 in Belleville, Kansas to Herbert and Marcine Johnson.

Teresa left this life to join loved ones in Heaven April 12, 2020 at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, Kansas. Teresa lived in Concordia, Kansas until she graduated from Concordia Junior-Senior High School with the class of 1981. Teresa moved to Salina, Kansas where she met the love of her life, Van. Together they raised two children, Amber and Ryan. Teresa spent much of her life working in the manufacturing industry. She enjoyed gardening, scrapbooking and time with family and her many friends.

Teresa is survived by her husband Van Harris of the home, daughter Amber Baatrup and husband Edmund, Newton, KS and son Ryan Harris, Salina, KS, sister Rita Youngers, Wichita, KS, sister Shirley Johnson, Topeka, KS and brother Michael Johnson, Pasco, WA, sisters in law Mary LeClair and husband Robert, Salina, KS and Kim Merry and husband Jerry, Salina, KS and brothers in law Vaughn Harris and wife Gail, Garnett, KS and Paul Harris and wife Delores, Roxbury, KS, many nieces and nephews and countless friends. Teresa will also be missed by her beloved pets, her two dogs-Sam and Maggie and Ezekiel the wonder cat. She was preceded in death by her parents, niece Kelly Johnson, her father in law Eugene Harris and two brothers in law, Robert Youngers and James Johnson.

Teresa will be cremated, and the family will plan a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Salina Animal Shelter. Memorials can be sent to 2308 Rivertrail Rd, Salina, KS 67401 in care of Teresa Harris.
