Kansas is getting thousands of coronavirus testing kits from the federal government.

Governor Laura Kelly says seven-thousand kits will go to counties in southwestern Kansas.

The kits were sent to Kansas due to an increase in COVID-19 cases among workers at meat-packing plants in the southwestern part of the state.
