Michael E. Andrews, 67, Hedville, died Friday, March 27, 2020 in Salina. Michael was born August 7, 1952 in Salina to William and Marjorie (Zorn) Andrews.
Michael was a graduate of Tescott High School Class of 1970 and went on to work at Phillips Lighting for numerous years before retiring from the company. He made many great friends while working at Phillips that truly impacted his life. Michael and Deborah (Debe) spent many years together before parting ways in 1992 but still remaining close friends. Michael was a proud Harley Rider and loved going on bike runs and seeing the beautiful sights of Kansas. He loved his 2 dogs, Jake & Jasper and truly cherished his friendships and would never turn down a Keystone or an Iced Tea. Michael was always there to lend a hand and was constantly working on numerous projects not only for himself but for others. He truly was a talented welder and very talented handyman.
He was preceded in death by his late ex-wife Debe, his father, William, and his brother, Marvin.
Survivors include his mother, Marjorie, his brothers, JD Andrews and Veryl Andrews (Brenda) and his children Travis Andrews & Shawn Andrews (Rich Schuman). His Grandchildren, Chelsie Andrews (Levi) Garrett Schuman, Zachary Schuman, Madi Schuman (Kyle) TerrenAndrews, Rain Andrews, and River Andrews. And one great grandson. Along with nieces and nephews and numerous lifelong friends.
Cremation was chosen. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2020, at the Glendale Cemetery. A lunch will follow at the Rolling Hills Zoo Picnic area.
The family request that any memorials in Michaels name be made to the Salina Animal Shelter or Kindred Hospice, in care of Ryan Mortuary, Salina.

– Go about two miles to Glendale
– Go across bridge and train tracks
– Turn East on Watkins Road (gravel road)
– Cemetery is about a 1/4 mile on Watkins Road
