Kenneth Eugene Boaz, 92, of Salina, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2020. He was born September 9, 1927 in Decatur, Illinois.

At seventeen he joined the Navy and served until 1954. While in service in Japan, he met his future wife, Betty Kuwano. They were married 72 years and had nine children.

Dad had many friends, with whom he golfed, fished, hunted, and played cards. He loved to tell stories and be with them, even to the very end of his days.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Boaz, children, Elizabeth Polly, Cathy Boaz (Aloha), Genie Boaz, Karl Boaz (Becky), Rose Davied (Joe), Mitch Boaz (Jewel), Marla Boaz (Jeff), Denise Boaz; 13 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rolla and Ethel (Casey) Boaz; son, Curtis Boaz. Because of Covid-19, there will be no services at this time.

The family would like to thank his caregivers and friends at Smoky Hill Rehabilitation for their continual love and care during his time there.
