Rowena C. Montgomery, 90, of Assaria, Kansas, passed away Sunday, August 2nd, 2020.

Rowena was born in Salina, Kansas on June 25, 1930, a daughter of the late Cleo (Elliott) Burg,and William F Burg.

She was a Bus Driver for Southeast of Saline USD 306 for over 46 years.

Survivors include daughter, Karla J Spiller (Tom), of Smolan, Kansas; two sons, Kim Alan Montgomery (Sue Ann), of Hutchinson, Kansas, and Kent Montgomery (LaVeda), of Solomon, Kansas

She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Montgomery (Jason), Jill Nusbaum (Noah), Jay Montgomery (Kelly), Klay Spiller (Sarah), Klint Spiller (Chelsy); 8 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild on the way.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Montgomery and son, Keith Montgomery.

At the family’s request there will be no visitation.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, August 6th, at Assaria Lutheran Cemetery, Assaria, Kansas.
