Though not totally out of the question, the chances for severe weather in Central Kansas have diminished.
According to the National Weather Service, there is a slight chance for an isolated severe thunderstorm this evening across central and especially south-central Kansas. If a storm can manage to develop, the primary threats will be very large hail, destructive winds and even an isolated tornado.
Thunderstorm chances should gradually increase areawide after midnight, with a continued threat of golfball size hail and damaging winds.
The severe threat will shift east on Sunday afternoon across southeast Kansas, with golf ball size hail, damaging winds and a slight chance for an isolated tornado.
