James William Dickerman, 77, passed away on Nov. 3, 2020 at his home with his wife at his side. He was born Sept. 7, 1943 in Salina, KS. to Don and Esther Dickerman.
Preceding him in death were his parents, three brothers and two nephews.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Kathryn; a sister, Josephine Pfannenstiel, Las Vegas; sons, Kenneth J. Dickerman, Sebastian, FL, and James D. Martin (Teresa), Covington, TN; grandchildren, Aaron, Aden and Amanda Dickerman, and Abigail Martin and Samantha Collier (John) of Tennessee; brother in law, Kenneth B. Parson (Vicki), Salina, and many nieces and nephews.
Jim loved Christian music and in his younger years enjoyed singing country gospel hymns when requested by church members. We are sure he has joined a heavenly choir.
A private graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020 in the Gypsum Hill Cemetery with Rev. J.J. Sexton officiating. Friends are invited to call at the Ryan Mortuary the hour prior to the graveside.
Memorials are suggested to Interim Hospice or Village Bible Church.
