Austin J. Thoman, age 89, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at his residence in Concordia, Kansas. He was born August 21, 1931 in Glasco, Kansas to Raymond and Jearl (Kennedy) Thoman.

He worked for Leland Reed Trucking, Concordia, Kansas as a Truck Driver for 43 years.

On August 2, 1957 he married Beverly Copple, in Concordia, Kansas and they recently celebrated 63 years of marriage. To this Union 4 children were born, Franklin, Randy, Laurie, and Carl.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Thoman of the home in Concordia, KS; son, Randy Thoman (Debbie), Concordia, KS; Laurie Deal (Brad), Concordia, KS; Carl Thoman (Daniel Houk), KC, MO; 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, Larry Thoman (Lorrie), of AZ; Ted Thoman, Concordia, KS; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Jearl, son, Franklin Thoman, granddaughter, Ashley Elizabeth Deal, Brothers, Wilfred, Wayne, Lloyd, Orley, Myron, Boyd, Bob, sisters, Cleo Dykes, Phyliss Franks, Joyce Hanson, Shirley Thoman, Mamie Aldridge, Janice Phelps, Geneva Nordquist.

Due to Covid Virus restrictions the family has requested a Private Family Graveside.

Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m., on Monday, December 21, 2020 at the Morrison Cemetery with Pastor Bob Burns officiating. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later time and place for family, friends.
