Robert Lee “Bob” Abernathy, 86, of New Cambria, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020. Bob was born on December 19, 1933 in Lincoln, Neb., to Robert E. and Fay (McKinney) Abernathy.

Bob graduated from Washington High School in 1952. He was an U.S. Army veteran having served in Germany. Bob owned several service stations for many years and then farmed.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Evelyn Damker; and brothers, William and Richard Abernathy.

He is survived by his daughter, Kelly Levinson; grandchildren, Robert Lee Kimbel and Gabriel Levinson; and great-grandson, Robert Allen Kimbel.

A private graveside service will be December 19, 2020 at Highland Cemetery, New Cambria. Ryan Mortuary, Salina, is handling arrangements.
