A Lindsborg woman is hurt in a crash in a construction zone near Salina.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a construction truck was putting up cones in a work zone on Interstate 135 south of Salina near the Mentor exit. The truck attempted a left turn into the median and was struck by an SUV.
The construction truck was pulled off the roadway by the driver. The SUV spun into the center median and rolled one time, landing on its wheels.
The driver of the construction truck, 62-year-old Vernon Johnson from Emporia, was nut hurt. The driver of the SUV, 49-year-old Cassie Gorman of Lindsborg, was hurt. She was transported by EMS to Salina Regional Health Center.
Troopers say that both drivers were buckled up.
The crash happend Tuesday morning at 7:45, 1.8 miles south of Salina on Interstate 135.
