Erma White Swanson, 100, of Salina, passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021. She was born December 12, 1920, in Lincoln, Kan., to William and Clara (Mason) Hendrickson.
Erma was a homemaker and was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary. She was a fantastic cook and could knit and sew up a storm. She loved to dance and travel. Always ready to go at a moment’s notice.
She is survived by her son, Jack White, Lindsborg; daughter, Kay Glasgow, Maylene, Ala.; grandchildren, Tiffanni Koone, Wendy White, and Robyn Colton; and seven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Andrew White, and Elmer Swanson; and siblings, Reva Herman, Elsie Herman, Myrtle Bloyd, and Claude Hendrickson.
Private family viewing will be Wednesday, March 17, from 11:30 – 12, with visitation for friends from 12 – 12:30 p.m., at Ryan Mortuary, Salina.
Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, at Ryan Mortuary. Burial will follow at Crown Point Cemetery, Culver. The service will be livestreamed and available for viewing at https://youtu.be/UNMY5KRSi1I
