Kansas Will Follow Feds’ Lead, Extending Income Tax Deadline

It appears Kansas will follow the federal government’s lead and delay the Sunflower State’s income tax-filing deadline.

Although no specifics were disclosed, the news was reportedly included in comments made yesterday by Governor Laura Kelly during a political appearance in Marysville.

On Wednesday, IRS officials announced that the agency was delaying the normal April 15th federal tax filing deadline to May 17th.
