Norma Claire Carter, 91, of Salina, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021. She was born September 5, 1929 in Concordia, KS.

She worked for South Western Bell as an office clerk/operator for 34 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin Clyde and Delia Claire (Sewart) VanZandt; her beloved husband of 65 years, Clarence LeRoy Carter; twin brother, Norman VanZandt; and her sister, Joyce Potter.

Survivors include her daughter, Jeri Steckman; sons, Mark (Shawna) Carter, Donn (Lynda) Carter; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild.
