Joseph P. “Joe” Strait, 57, of Salina, Kan., passed away Monday, October 25, 2021. He was born on January 4, 1964, in Concordia, Kan., to Mel O. and Martha (Breault) Strait.
Joe attended schools in Salina and participated in Special Olympics bowling, receiving many awards. He attended Bethpage and worked as a dining room attendant at Taco John’s since 2001.
Survivors include his parents; sister, Sheri King (William), of Lewis, Kan.; brother, Kenneth (Mary), of Salina; nephews, Lucas, Alex, and Evan King; and nieces, Kayla King, and Allison, Ashley and Anna Strait.
He was preceded in death by his nephew, Conner King.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Friday, October 29, at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina, with burial to follow in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor’s choice, in care of Ryan Mortuary, Salina.
