Harvey Hagen, age 79, passed away at his home in Gypsum on Monday, November 1, 2021. He was a life long resident of Saline County.
Harvey grew up in Salina and graduated from Salina High School. He then enlisted and served in the Navy during the Vietnam conflict. He worked for Graves Truck Line for many years and later Johns Manville, retiring in 2008. Harvey was a sports fan enjoying all sports from golf to NASCAR but football was his favorite. He was also an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife Judy (Smith) Hagen of 56 years, four daughters, Amy Evans (Eric), Hutchinson, Kansas, Susan Drummond (John), Andover, Kansas, Jennifer Doughman (Chad), Boone, Iowa and Niccole Deegan, Lincoln, Nebraska. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., at the Gypsum Valley Cemetery, 9053 East Hobbs Creek Road, Gypsum, Kansas. Family and friends are invited to the home following the service.
