Police make two more arrests in a vehicle burglary case that left a Union Pacific Vehicle damaged.
According to Captain Mike Sweeney, officers arrested 19-year-old Seth Morgan and 18-year-old Kevin Bartholomew, both of Salina after investigators linked the two to vandalism of a truck owned by UP.
Police allege the two and 16-year-old Samuel Johannes of Salina stole approximately $2,000 worth of safety equipment like hard hats, respirators and safety glasses from the vehicle while it was parked at 3050 Riffel Road during the overnight hours of June 26th.
Police say the three also spray painted the truck’s tailgate and hood. Johannes was arrested on July 6th.
All three are facing charges that include vehicle burglary, theft and damage to property.
Some of the items have been recovered.
