Selena Elizabeth Rogers, Smolan, KS, passed away on December 8, 2021, at Salina Regional Health Center in Salina, KS, at the age of 60. She was born on June 19, 1961, to Eugene and Juanita (Pittman) Glisson in Vidalia, GA.

Selena is survived by her significant other, Kelly Wild of the home in Smolan; daughters, Kiley Elizabeth Havlas and husband Scott of Minneapolis, KS, Heidi Lynessa Rogers and husband Brad Berens of Salina, KS, and Jamie Nicole White and husband Tim of Stockton, KS; stepfather Wayne Spore of Plainville, KS; sisters Yvonne Slicker of Florida, Winnelle Colburn (Harry) of Downs, KS; brother Stacy Glisson (Lorraine) of Luray, KS; stepsister Kim Hupfer of Plainville, KS; stepbrother Jeff Spore of Missouri; four grandchildren, Jacob Rogers, Jason and James Berens, and Ella Starr Snyder; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death her mother, Juanita Spore, her grandmother “Granny” Eva Pittman, her father Eugene Glisson, brothers: Bill Tomlin, William Glisson, Henry Glisson; stepbrother Phillip Spore; and brother-in-law Bob Kennedy.

Selena didn’t know a stranger; she was greatly loved and will be terribly missed. She had a giving heart and loved with an even greater heart. We can all smile because she lived and left us with cherished memories that will live forever in our hearts. She will be remembered in love.

A private family viewing was held on Saturday, December 11, 2021. There will be a Celebration of Life planned for a future date.
