Police are investigating a break in at a Salina auto shop.

According to Captain Mike Sweeney, someone broke a window to gain entry into Del’s Mufflers at 622 E. Iron sometime between Saturday at 5:30pm and Monday morning at 7am.

Police say multiple shop tools were taken as well as $1,500 welder and welder stands.

Total loss and damage is listed at $5,100.
