SALINA – Michael John Cedillo age 59 died peacefully in his home on January 22, 2022 in Salina, KS. He was born April 26, 1962 in Stamford, TX to Rose Barnett and Juan Cedillo.
Michael was a proud member of the US Marine Corps where he served as a machine gunner in the 11th Marine Regiment. Michael and Tammy married in 1988 and were happily married for 33 years. He worked at Textron (formerly known as Beechcraft/Raytheon) for almost 30 years. He enjoyed spending with family and close friends and watching KU with a Budweiser in his hand.
Michael is survived by his wife Tammy Cedillo; his children Dani Cedillo-Brister (Adam) of Los Alamos, NM and Taylor Cedillo of Salina; his grandchildren Frankie, Flint, and Georgie; his sisters Pat Fernandez (Art) and Grace Cochran (Kenny) of Salina; brother Vic Cedillo (Nancy) of Cypress, TX; father-in-law Max Marler (Phyllis); sisters-in-law Pam Skidmore (Mike) and Julie Marler; and multiple nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.
The family would like to say thank you for all the love and support that has been given from all his friends and family.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date in Salina.
