With only a week until Kansans head to the polls to vote in the 2014 Primary Elections, Saline County Clerk and Elections Officer Don Merriman is spreading the word about changes in where you vote.
Merriman joined in on the KSAL Morning News Tuesday with a look at the changes brought on by USD 305 Board of Education’s decision to block election day voting from all school buildings.
Merriman tells KSAL News that letters were sent to voters who are affected and signs will be posted where changes have been made, “We know there is going to be some confusion in those precincts, but we hope to limit that by getting the word out now,” he said.
The decision to move polling stations out of USD 305 buildings was linked to school safety issues.
