Paul Diehl II, 77, of Salina, KS, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022. He was born September 28, 1944 to Paul and Velma (Gustafson) Diehl. He graduated from Tescott High School then enlisted into the Navy. He served a total of four years, 1964 to 1968.
Paul was a hardworking man. He had his own business, Finney County Scale Company, and was a true cowboy. He lended a helping hand to everyone and was always giving great advice. He enjoyed being surrounded by family and talking about “the good ole days” while playing cards.
He was married to Jo-Ann Donovan and had three children; Paul Diehl III, Donavan Diehl, and Lisa Diehl. He also had 5 grandchildren; Russell and Gary Carter, Colby Blaser, and Jacob and Britta Diehl. Lastly, he was a loving brother to Janis Galvez, Jerry Diehl, and Ronald Diehl.
He is survived by his children, Paul Diehl III, Donavan Diehl, and Lisa Diehl (Darrin Carter); his siblings, Jerry Diehl (Judy), and Janis Galvez (Arturo); and five grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Paul and Velma Diehl, and brother, Ronald Diehl.
A visitation will be held, Friday, April 29th, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Ryan Mortuary, Salina.
There will be a graveside service at Prairie Mound Cemetery, 2990-2996 Ave A, Brookville, KS 67425 on Saturday, April 30th at 11 a.m.
Memorials may be made to Ryan Mortuary to assist with expenses.
