Larry D. Arnold, 83, of Salina, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Salina Regional Health Center. He was born November 14, 1938 to Robert and Viola (Gray) Arnold in Culver, Kansas. He graduated in 1956 from Culver High School. He married Frances Sharp on February 6, 1961 in Minneapolis. He began working at the grain elevator in New Cambria, in 1960 and retired after 50 years. He also enjoyed his second job as a valet driver for Salina Regional Health Center for six years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Arnold and Viola Stanley and half-brother, Richard Stanley.
Survivors include his wife, Frances and special daughter, Tamra Lynne, both of the home; half-sister Carol (Jim) Murphy, of Culver; nephews, Michael (Jessica) Stanley, of Topeka, Gary (Michelle) Stanley, of Fort Worth, TX, David (Kari) Stanley, James (Coralee) Murphy, all of Salina; niece, Sarah Murphy (Troy Dean), Wichita; aunt Marjorie Bradley, Sedgwick; and cousins.
Visitation will be 12-8 p.m. Sunday, July 17, at Ryan Mortuary. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 18, at Ryan Mortuary. Burial will follow in Gypsum Hill Cemetery.
